As you may have guessed, my name is Jama, and I am an on-location studio and natural light photographer specializing in newborn, children, family, senior, engagement, and bridal portraits. I am located in Austin, but I also provide services in the surrounding areas. Born and raised a Texan, I am a small town girl at heart, but I love to travel the world and see it all through the lens of my camera. My photography approach is just like me: laid back, fun and always changing.
Photography has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom and grandfather always had cameras and were taking pictures of my siblings and me when we were young, so my life is well documented through pictures. Since my first Mickey Mouse camera, I knew that photography was going to be a big part of my life. In high school and college I learned the actual techniques of what makes a great picture, from black and white to vivid colors, I actively use all of the knowledge at my disposal to create images that you and your family will treasure for years to come.
