Jarrid - San Antonio Portraits

My nephew spent his Spring Break last week up in San Antonio so my sister asked me to go down and take some portraits of him. I hadn't taken his picture in a while so I was game. There's nothing like following a 10 year old around and letting him run wild. He was my first ever model for my portrait photography classes in college. Let's just say he's been "posing" for me for years.

Carly & Jordan - Engagement Portraits

This has got to be my favorite time of year to be living in Austin, Texas. Last weekend was so nice outside, we picked the perfect day to walk around downtown Austin to take Carly and Jordan's engagement pictures. We had so much fun and really got our exercise with all the walking. I can't wait for the wedding, I'm sure it will be just as fun.

Jackson

This was the first time I've had the pleasure of taking Jackson's portraits. Within minutes of starting our photo adventure, a peacock walked by. After that we were on a peacock hunt for the rest of the morning. I had so much fun taking his portraits out at Mayfield Park.

Sean - 1 Year Birthday Portraits

This is my personal favorite, check out that cutie pie.

Sean celebrated his first birthday while I was on vacation in Cancun. Unfortunately I missed his party with pony rides and a petting zoo, but I was lucky enough to capture some pictures later. We decided to do his Easter portraits as well and with a smile like his, he made my job easy.

Cancun 2010

The Mayan Ruins at El Rey were great to go visit and a nice distraction from lounging on the beach and sipping pina coladas. I liked this view because it showed a nice mix of old and new.
I loved the iguanas. They were all over the place as we walked around the ruins. I almost stepped on a few because they camouflage so well, but fortunately, they were more scared of me then I was of them.

Craig and I took a quick trip to Cancun to celebrate his 30th birthday in February. It was very relaxing and we could not have had a better time soaking up the sun. Sorry we missed the snow in Austin, but what can I say, I pick sun and beach over snow any day. I hope you enjoy viewing the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
