Photo Session for Donations
After finding out that my soon to be born nephew will be born with a congenital heart problem, Transposition of the Great Arteries, I decided to do my part to help bring awareness to this issue. As a big sister, when I heard this news I wanted to do what I had always done for my little sister: fix it. I know that this is something that I can't fix, so I can't think of a better way to help with the large amount of medical bills than do what I do best: take pictures. All portrait sessions (family, newborn, children, seniors, engagement, bridals) I book until the end of the year will be purely donation only. You decide what you want to donate, and I will take your pictures. It’s a win/win for all. For your generous donation, I will provide you with a session at the location of your choice and a disk of 20-30 edited pictures. I will retain the copyrights, but you will be provided a printing release. Please share this with anyone you know who might be interested and contact me to set up a session or for more details. Please keep in mind that because the donations are going to an individual, they are not tax deductible. ♥ ♥

Photo Challenge | May Flowers
This weeks challenge is flowers!!! What a great category! I love the bluebonnets every spring, it is the State Flower of Texas after all. We were driving back home into Austin one evening and spotted this field on the side of the road. We did a u-turn and found a safe place to pull of so I could snap this picture at sunset! To check out all the other pretty flower entries use this link:

Penelope & Will - Austin Engagement Portraits
It sure is hard to pick a favorite picture from this set. We went out to Zilker Botanical Gardens and downtown Austin to take this lovely couples engagement portraits. They are both so much fun to be around which made the session that much better. Can't wait for the wedding in September.
