Tyson - 2nd Birthday Portraits at Mayfield Park in Austin

We went out to Mayfield Park this past week to take Tyson's 2nd birthday portraits.  The peacocks were on full display.  After a while of playing with the peacocks we finally got a few smiles.  All in all, we had a great time playing!

Penelope & Will - Austin Engagement Portraits

It sure is hard to pick a favorite picture from this set.  We went out to Zilker Botanical Gardens and downtown Austin to take this lovely couples engagement portraits.  They are both so much fun to be around which made the session that much better.  Can't wait for the wedding in September.

It was a beautiful evening to be outside taking pictures of such a beautiful family.  Not only did we get some gorgeous pictures of the happy couple, we also got some great family shots.  Did I mention Hunter Jr. is soooo cute!!

Larsen Family - Welcome to Texas

The Larsen Family recently moved to Texas and I was honored that I was able to capture their first family photos since moving.  The goal was a nice family portrait in the bluebonnets.  After our drought, the bluebonnets were sparse, but we did find a nice spot with a little patch.  I think it served it's purpose well.  After the "formal" portraits, the kids were able to have fun and make silly faces for me, I couldn't leave those pictures out of this sneak peek.

It's always a pleasure to take pictures and watch kids grow.  Last year for Sean's first birthday portraits, he was just a baby.  This year for his second birthday pictures he's a big boy! 

Emily Jane - Portraits Just Because

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever.  A few month back my friend Emily and I set out to try pictures at some new locations around Austin.  We had so much fun and I'm excited about the results.

Cooper 1 year

I've been taking Cooper's pictures since he was a newborn. This weekend, we finished off with his 1 year old portraits. We decided that the "Austin Mural" was a fitting location for a kid born in Austin. As usual, we had a blast and he made my job easy. Thanks Sloan and Derek for letting me document his first year.
