Evoking You - Summertime Challenge top 10 - Photographer Austin, Texas

Yay, what an honor to have one of my images chosen in the top 10 for Evoking You's summertime challenge.  This has got to be my favorite "self portrait" image I have ever taken. When I think of summertime, I think of the beach, sand between my toes and just relaxing.  Oh how I wish I lived closer to the beach.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | All Boy {June 2012}

This theme was an easy pick for me! My sweet nephew.  He is all boy!  When I think of boys, I think that they will grow up to be men, I think strength, courage and heart!  This sweetheart has it all.  He hasn't had the easiest life and he's only 8 months old.  He was born with a congenital heart defect and underwent open heart surgery at 5 days old.  His heart is doing great now, but from the trauma of his birth he tweaked a nerve in his neck which caused him to favor only turning his head to one side.  So, last month, he was fitted for his helmet.  Well, being the boy that he is my sister and I decided to have fun with it.  We are in Texas and of course are Texas Longhorns fans.  It was an easy pick to makes this sweet boy a football player!  Now he can represent his football team everyday!  If that doesn't scream BOY, I don't know what does!!!

My sweet, sweet nephew turned a whole 8 months old his month.  No better way to capture the occassion than with a picture.  Since he has to wear his helmet all day we figured we'd decorate it with a few of our favorite things...Longhorns football!!

Cutie - San Antonio - Austin - Lifestyle Portrait Photography

Okay, so I don't usually blog with just one image, but I couldn't help myself.  I downloaded his pictures last night and was immediately drawn to this one.  This little guy is soooo cute and I love when I get to photograph him and his family.  More to come in this preview I just wanted to get this up because well, isn't it just adorable!?!  UPDATE:  I added a few more images that I LOVE. 

Senior Portraits - Austin Senior Portrait Photographer

What an amazingly beautiful girl she is.  I actually think stunning is a better word used to describe this senior. We went up to Old Settler's Park in Round Rock for her senior portrait session and were not disappointed by the location.  Plus the evening light was just perfect!!

Princesses - Austin Children's Photographer

These two are just the most adorable girls.  We headed to Mayfield Park for some fun spring portraits and of course we saw a "princess" who was also taking pictures.  From then on we were on a princess hunt...of course the peacock's are always a nice distraction.
